Sparrow Technology Solutions (STS) was founded upon the idea that hosting and collocation of your equipment at a secure and reliable data center can be locally controlled by you yet still be affordable without being relegated to a far-away major metropolitan area. The growing need for “edge” or “micro” data centers that are closer to clients, resonated with Brad Hill, the founder of STS, as he’s seen over his past 23 years of working in the IT industry that businesses aren’t being afforded enough options to maintain control of their data. He wanted to provide a reasonably priced alternative to the traditional data center model by allowing clients to operate, store, and share their data their way in an easily accessible but secure manner. As an IT professional, Brad knows first-hand how frustrating it can be to have the only choices be relinquishing your data to an unseen warehouse data center or over paying for a sliver of space at a local data center that then nickels and dimes you for every service.
